The Creation of a No Poverty, No Affluence Society Where basic needs such as water shelter and other infrastructure facilities essential for human well being are satisfied.
Mission
To Improve the Living Standards of Sri Lanka’s Poor by satisfying their Basic Needs through Infrastructural Development Activities and strengthening their Institutional Skill through simple Appropriate Technological Trainings. Objectives • Improve Health Conditions of the villagers by - providing Safe Drinking Water through sustainable schemes at a reasonable distance and introducing Proper Sanitation Methods to households. • Promote Social and Technological Empowerment, Self Management in the villages / Communities though projects implemented by SRTS. • Promote environmental friendly, harmless alternative Energy Options to minimize environmental hazards. Sarvodaya Rural Technical Services (SRTS) (Predecessor of Sarvo-Tech (PVT) Ltd) as Technological Arm of Lanka Jathika Sarvodaya Shramadana Sangamaya (INC) has been involved for more than 4 decades in the Construction activities related to Water, Sanitation, Roadways and Housing & Building Sectors in Rural & Semi-urban Communities with Funds from Donor Agencies on a Full Grant Basis.
In addition, having identified Appropriate Technologies SRTS conducted Vocational Training Programmes for Youths selected from Rural Communities. It was involved in the Publication of Technical Manuals connected to Water and Sanitation for establishment of Quality Standards in the Sector.
With a rich portfolio of experience and expertise developed over 3 decades dealing with both governmental and non-governmental and community-based organizations, SARVO-TECH (PVT) LTD has successfully completed more than 175 projects of varying scales, and is composed of an expert team of consultants, engineers, quantity surveyors, draughtsman, and technical officers to ensure smooth progress and completion of works.
