This is a Sarvodaya Village around Matara. In the foreground, you can see mothers that live in tents on the land near their toppled houses. In the background Kamal is taking a photograph of the village children.
Today Indi, Kamal, Humeira, and Shehari took a drive down south to get photos and news from the field. Captain Jeevan Ariyaratne was kind enough to organize everything, drive, and introduce us to the villagers and villages he knows well.
