Linked to the overall Cash Transfer Programme spearheaded by UNICEF, this project facilitates the registration of beneficiaries in 8 districts (Puttalam, Anuradhapura, Moneragala, Kegalle, Killinochi, Mullaitivu, Ratnapura, Vavuniya) through the government system and ensures families receiving cash assistance receive adequate nutrition information to make informed dietary choices, specifically for children under 2 years of age. The project additionally aims to develop the capacity of non-health staff in the field at GN and DS level and enable nutrition improvements through integrated responses.
