Relief activities on 19.05.2016 (Thursday)
• Distribution of water (200 5-liter bottles) in Mayadunna Maha Vidyalaya and Rajasinghe MV Pahathgama in Hanwella
• Distribution of cooked food parcels (750 packs) in Pahathgama in Hanwella
• Mobilizing 3 boats in rescue and relief distribution in collaboration with Fisheries Society of Western Province in Mahabudgamuwa, Kudabudgamuwa and Wellampitiya GNs, in Kollonnawa
Relief activities on 20.05.2016 (Friday)
• Mobilizing 1 boat in Kotikawatta, Kohilawatta, Brandiaywatta, Budgamuwa, Badullawatta in Kollonnawa
• Street tour in Moratuwa to collect Dry Food Rations in collaboration with Sri Lanka Youth (Collection exceeded 60,000 LKR in cash and 150,000 LKR worth of dry rations)
• Procurement and preparation of Dry Food Packs (100 packs worth of 1,300 LKR per pack / 10$ per pack)
• Distribution of at least 500 cooked food parcels in Colombo and ~100 5-liter water bottles (distributed by boats to inaccessible people)
• Distribution of Medicine (distributed by boats)
• Distribution of candle boxes, and matchboxes (distributed by boats)
• Distribution of 70 Sanitary Packs for mothers in Rajagiriya Malpa Raja Maha Viharaya, Hathgampala Viharaya, Muyurapada Viharaya, Rajagiriya MV in Aranayake (Sarvodaya Women’s Movement)
• Collection of dry food items items at Sarvodaya District Centers island wide
Relief activities on 21.05.2016 (Saturday)
• Mobilizing the 5th boat in Wellampitiya in collaboration with Summit Finance Ltd.
• Distribution of 200 of 5-liter water bottles (distributed by boats)
• Distribution of medicine (distributed by boats)
• Distribution of ~30 Dry Food Packs in Bradiyawatta (distributed by boats)
• Visiting 5 Centers Aranayake in Kegalle: Rajasinghe School, Malpa Viharaya, Hathgampala, Moragammana, Wiyaneliya with medicine, cleaning equipment, detergents, milk powder, baby clothes etc.. Supplies handed over to the Centers (by Sarvodaya Shanthi Sena)
Relief activities on 22.05.2016 (Sunday)
• Setting up transit warehouse in Kotikawatta with generator (in the absence of electricity)
• Distribution of 1,000 food parcels in Hanwella in collaboration with Sarvodaya CBOs
• Distribution of 63 Sanitary Packs (by Sarvodaya Women’s Movement), and 80 Dry Food Packs in Dharmapala Vidyalaya in Kolonnawa
• Distribution of 200,000 LKR worth of dry food rations in Batawala and Panaluwa in Hanwella by Angamuwa Sarvodaya Shramadana Society
Relief activities on 23.05.2016 (Monday) – Water is receding, and many started going back to their homes
• Field visit and need assessment in Kahanthota, Arangala, Artigala and Batawala in Hanwella area
• Preparation for volunteer cleaning campaign (procurement of cleaning utensils, boots and gloves, detergents etc.)
• Purchase of medicine for medical camps on Tuesday
• Distribution of 30 Sanitary Packs in Arangala Raja Maha Viharaya in Hanwella

• Medical camps in Kollonnawa (at least 03 places)
• Home cleaning campaigns in Kollonnawa (at least 02 teams) in Brandiawatta in Kollonnawa
