The Sustainable Retail project in partnership with MAS Capital (Private) Limited aims to introduce effective recycling programs to identified entrepreneurs in the Kalutara district. A significant part of this program will be the implementation of the steps known as the five Rs, namely refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose, and recycle.  

The five Rs refer to a process used by businesses to make the outcome of their recycling programs better through reducing the amount of waste produced, keep the environment cleaner and to ensure that all hazardous waste is safely disposed of.
