These are just a few organizations we’ve noticed in the XML feed (Sarvodaya in the News). It by no means a comprehensive list. Please leave a comment if you would like your organization to be included. We would again like to than the students at Chuo University in Japan and the Sri Lankan Association of New Zealand.

Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland

Sanofi-Aventis(Europe’s #1 Pharmaceutical Company)

Cafe Cocomo (a San Francisco Salsa Club)

and, finally the students of the University of Texas, Arlington.

Segu Zaneer, Sri Lankan Student Association president, echoed the Sri Lankan government’s call for relief. The chemistry graduate student said people want to get involved in relief efforts but they should be cautious about selecting a program they agree with, not just a random organization.

Zaneer’s group is donating all money received from on-campus boxes and collected from the Dallas-Fort Worth area mosques, where they have received around $10,000 in a month, to the Sarvodaya Foundation at http://www.sarvodaya.org/.
